Live for the applause

I decided to make this week’s playlist: all the songs I have been obsessively listening to the past week or so.

I listen to a lot of different music styles, ranging from pop to pop punk to punk rock to rock and I even throw some country in there once in a while. I listen to the punk-rock and rock genres most, but this is a mix of everything!

I like to listen to varying genres because I can never decide on a favourite song as it always changes and it is always in a different genre!

Musical inspiration: Christina Aguilera

Being a major music person myself, I would have to say that one of my biggest inspirations for a long time now is Christina Aguilera.

She has the voice of an angel and her lyrics are so true and honest. She is truly an influence on my life, as she is for millions of other people all around the world.

In my favourite songs like The Voice Within (which I am attempting to sing but failing miserably) and Beautiful (love the classics), she truly expresses her feelings and speaks to the listener in a way nobody else does.

She is definitely someone I look up to and someone I aspire to be.
